Introduction to the CLiCC Tool
Webinar
Thursday Nov 8th, 2018 at 8:00AM PST
After over four years of research and development, we are launching the Chemical Life Cycle Collaborative (https://CLiCC.net) tool to the public.
The CLiCC tool is a web-based chemical impact and risk analytics software that allows rapid assessment of chemicals with regard to their hazards, chemical properties, life cycle impacts, and human and ecological health risks. While the number of synthetic chemicals known to humans is growing rapidly, our understanding of their life cycle impacts and risks has not kept pace. Analysts often have to assemble data from multitude of disparate sources, making the process time-consuming and costly. The CLiCC tool addresses these challenges by connecting cutting-edge scientific models and various new and existing data sets into an interactive web-based platform. The outputs of CLiCC tools can assist, among others, Alternatives Analysis (AA), materials selection, and product innovation.
To mark the launch of CLiCC, we are organizing a free webinar to introduce the tool and to hear from selected pre-launch users about their experiences. Please join us and learn how CLiCC might meet your organization's needs.
Online registration to the webinar is required (seats limited). See below for a registration link. If you have any questions related to the upcoming webinar, please reach out to admin [at] clicc [dot] net.
